Welcome to my blog!

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry.

Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book.

This is a test blog – Being Proactive

Posted by admin | In: Key Stuff

You hear it a lot these days that you should be proactive, lets deal with this proactivley or maybe “If we were practive about this we should have found it sooner”. But what does it mean to be proactive.

In it’s bare format, being proactive is all about taking responsibility and having enough self awareness to realise you should actually take the bull by the horns and do something about it.

On the web, there are a couple of deffinitions that weigh in on this word “proactive”. These are:

Answers.com defines it as “Acting in advance to deal with an expected difficulty”

Webster defines it as “Acting in anticipation of future problems, needs and changes”

The key word here is to act. Action begets results so take action today resolve to be more proactive.

Now it does actually takes a lot of effort to be proactive. i don’t want to set the false expectation that things will be easy. You will expend a tonne of energy as you try to work out what to work on as you gain more awareness through proactivity. Make sure you don’t let this be your reason for procrastination though. This little word can make your whole work and private life come alive (sounds corny but it’s true).

Here’s a few action points you can take right now to be proactive:

Gain a better understanding of your role – Ask people what they think about your discoveries.

Think about what would be the most important task you can do in your role this week.

Try to anticipate the needs of those around you and help them out.

Look for ways to free up your time to concentrate on more important things.

Another Test Blog – Thanksgiving

Posted by admin | In: More Things

Thanksgiving is a festival to celebrate the harvest and to express gratitude for the goodness bestowed upon us. It was originally observed as a harvest festival which went on to become a secular holiday. It is a day where friends and family get together and express their gratitude over a scrumptious dinner of turkey. Holidays always have a way of rekindling our spirits and in bringing out the child in us.

But what to do when you have people around for your traditional Thanksgiving dinner. We have some great Scavenger Hunt Ideas that we think will work well to entertain your guests.

Some basics first. A scavenger hunt is a game where you are led on a trail to search a list of objects. You don’t need to break your head to organize this game as this is very simple and can be accomplished within the contours of your house.

Heres A Hiring test Example

Posted by admin | In: Test Category 1

Thanks for applying to work for me as a virtual assistant. Before hiring, I would like to set some expectations around the role and hopefully paint a picture of what you will be doing. After this, I have a few questions for you. Please answer them as honestly as you can and I will get back to you with a response soon.Firstly, the job will be limited to 10 hours per week to start with. I set this limit so that we can both get used to working with each other without having the worry about taking too long. Hope this is OK with you.
